UNKNOWN GUNMEN KIDNAP CIVIL SERVANT, ENO OROK IN CROSS RIVER

Unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a civil servant, Eno Patrick Orok in Cross River State.

The gunmen numbering about six stormed the victims home yesterday, at Uyanga, in Akamkpa local government area of the state, at about 10pm, shot sporadically in the air before making away with the victim.

According to a close family source, “the kidnappers came in fully armed with face masks, forced themselves into our compound and abducted her.

“The abductors are yet to contact us, and no ransom has been asked,” the source added.

The victim (Eno Patrick Orok) is a 60 year old, hypertensive and asthmatic patient and a staff of Federal Training Institute, Calabar.

Meanwhile, the source further disclosed that security agents have been contacted on the situation.

Efforts to reach the police for further details, proved abortive, as calls to the mobile phone of the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Irene Ugbo, was left unpicked.
