The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar, Prof. Florence Banku Obi, has congratulated Justice Akon Ikpeme on her confirmation as substantive Chief Judge of the state by the Cross River House of Assembly.
The VC, who extolled the virtues of Ikpeme as a dedicated and astute legal practitioner, with over 3 decades of service in the state judiciary, said her confirmation was divine.
Prof. Obi, in her goodwill message, said that her consistency and strength in the pursuit of her career has earned her another glorious feather and a blessing to the women folk.
