He urged the new council bosses to shun cultism, and be open to criticism as this is the only way they could set a new agenda for the third tier of government.

“This is not a time for celebration, its time to work, smart work and hard work. Every local Government Chairman have serious work to do.

“I advise all local Government Chairmen to pick from this List and Work for the people or else they wont like the reactions of the people towards them.

“I will be here to put my eyes on them and report every good and bad Representation on radio. (I am Battle Ready)

“I advise all the Chairmen to be open to criticism, shun cultism, bullying and build a formidable media Team.

“I want them to know that, from today our attention will move a little bit from the Governor and be focused on them.

“They should not forget they have only 3 years and after which their political future will either die or move to the next level.

“They should know that if they fail, they have failed not just the people but their family members.

“I am Awade Friday, the voice of the common man and the future of Cross River State’s political liberation.”
