SEN. OWAN PLAY HOST TO APC PARTY FAITHFULS, CALLS FOR SUPPORT FOR AGI’S CANDIDACY

Ahead of the official inauguration of the Cross River North Campaign council, hundreds of APC members gathered in Ikom, as distinguished Senator John Owan Enoh played host to Party faithfuls during a dinner held at Jorany Hotel.

Speaking during the event, the Senator called on members of the party to imbibe the spirit of love, forgiveness and progressiveness, adding that there are much to benefit when party members unite and work as one formidable force.

He informed participants that the meeting was convened on a personal ground as a ‘party man’ who believes that members of the party should meet regularly to encourage one another, review past and ongoing events, while looking forward to a better tomorrow.

He called on members and stakeholders who could afford to do same, to go ahead and do so, adding that the party was going through a lot as an opposition party at the state level, with so many members dissatisfied with happenings in the party and therefore they need to be encouraged to stay on course.

Sen. Owan called on party faithfuls to support the ambition of Joe Agi SAN as the party is set to flag off its campaign today in Ogoja, ahead of the Northern Senatorial bye-election.

He also announced transportation logistics for those ready to proceed with him to the campaign flag-off at Ogoja today.

The Senator enjoined members to support Senator Mathew Mbu Jnr, who is the new chairman of the state chapter of the party, adding that his emergence as the party chairman will unite and take APC to higher grounds and winning ways in Cross River State.
