An unidentified young man in his early 20s has been lynched by angry mob who apprehended him during a robbery incidence that occurred at Jesus Christ of Latter Day Assembly church, Calabar.
The incidence which occurred in the early hours of today along Yellow Duke street, Calabar South attracted a mammoth crowd who gathered round the lynched body awaiting evacuation of the deceased by the authorities.
Investigation by Genuine reporters reveals that the culprits made their way into the church some nights ago and carted away Air conditioner and other valuables. They however came back last night to continue their mission when passersby caught them but unfortunately two of them absconded leaving behind the young man who was condoned and lynched by the angry mob.
Speaking to genuine reporter, a source who preferred anonymity revealed that the culprits made their way through the back of the Church which linked to a slaughter. On the way out, the butchers there pursued them and two of them absconded leaving behind the unlucky one who seem not to be familiar with the terrain. When caught, they discovered some charms around his waist and the mob decided to set him ablaze. He was pelted with stones and machete until he gave up the ghost.
As at the time of filling this report, his remains was still lying on the street.
