A team of delegation led by the Rector of the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Ugep today paid a courtesy visit to the Acting Vice Chancellor of Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH).
The visit which is centred around collaboration and technical support from the state university provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss issues of common interest.
The Rector of the institute, Dr. Jeffrey Thompson stated that the team is seeking technical support from CRUTECH. He added that the visit is equally geared towards creating synergy in areas of development and request for collaboration in research and learning.
On his part, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Augustine Angba assured management of IMT of CRUTECH’s willingness to give optimum technical and other support through synergy to strengthen other higher institutions in Cross River State.
Both parties unanimously agreed to work together to strengthen relationship between both institutions and raise the bar in specific areas of technical support, research and development, human capacity building so as to ensure speedy development of both institutions and create technology incubation centres.
