GRADUATE OF ERSTWHILE CRUTECH BAGS PRESIDENT’S NYSC AWARD

Mr. Bassey, Bassey Okon, a graduate of the erstwhile Cross River University of Technology now known as Cross River State University, has received the President’s National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Honours Award.

The award qualifies Mr Okon for automatic employment in the Federal Civil Service and scholarship for the pursuit of Post Graduate studies in any university of his choice.

His profile as published by NYSC indicates that he did his primary assignment in Yerwa Government Girls Secondary School, Maiduguri, Borno State and distinguished himself in a manner that endeared him to the Principal, staff and students of the school.

Recall that Mr. Greg Ipuole, a graduate of Department of Visual Arts in the erstwhile CRUTECH, also received the President’s NYSC Honours Award.
He received the award at the same time with Mr. Bassey Okon.
They are among 110 ex-corps members who received the awards.
