EKPENYONG FOUNDATION SET TO SPONSOR C’RIVER BUSINESSES FOR AGRIC INVESTMENT SCHEME

The Asuquo Ekpenyong Foundation has engaged the services of Moure Consult Limited, a CBN approved Entrepreneurhip Development Institute, to sponsor and facilitate the training/sensitization of registered businesses owned by Cross Riverians to make them eligible for the Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS). The Asuquo Ekpenyong Foundation has engaged the services of Moure Consult Limited, a CBN approved Entrepreneurhip Development Institute, to sponsor and facilitate the training/sensitization of registered businesses owned by Cross Riverians to make them eligible for the Agri-Business/Small and Medium Enterprise Investment Scheme (AGSMEIS). AGSMEIS is an initiative of the Federal Government to support efforts and policy measures for the promotion of agricultural business and small/medium enterprises (SMEs) as sustainable economic development and employment generation.

Those interested may get the forms completely free from LGA Desk officers in the 18 LGAs.

Successful applicants will be shortlisted and invited for a one week training programme in Calabar by the CBN certified Entrepreneurship Development Institute.

The EDI Consultants will guide and assist interested persons to apply for the facility as well as produce all supporting documents (such as business plan, feasibility studies etc) to the application. The Asuquo Ekpenyong Foundation will sponsor the cost of the sensitization and application process at zero cost to the interested applicants.

Below is the steps to access the loan.

Step 1: Get Trained. Attend a one week compulsory training at a CBN certified Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI).

Step 2: Apply For Loan.

Step 3: Receive Funds.

Step 4: Get Business Support Services.

Step 5: Make Sales.

Step 6: Repay Loan.
